wikis

I am a little weary of Wikipedia, even though I often use it for a starting point for information. If the topic I am looking into does not involve factual or school related information I use it. I was not aware of other wiki programs such as the Princeton Library's Book Lovers Wiki, which was actually really neat. I think this is a good tool for all libraries and should be explored as reader's advisory options.
I also think that Wiki's for specific events or ideas is also really cool, it gives people a chance to explore other's opninions and ideas in an organized manner. This would be good for all kinds of organizinations to offer more explanation of what they do and services they offer...
